Hi, I’m Taylor

I’m 29 and I live in the Pacific Northwest, however, you won’t find me seeking out time in the great outdoors (I know, very anti-PNW of me). Instead, you’re more likely to find me trying a new restaurant on a weeknight, and there’s a 75% chance I have brunch plans over the weekend. I love stand up comedy, and enjoy the comfort that comes from re-watching a tv show or movie for the thousandth time.

Above all though, I love Jesus. I like to say I went from knowing Jesus to following Jesus in college. That’s where he truly captured my heart. Since then, my life has been marked by His radical love and grace and it has built a faith and trust in Him that is unshakeable. And yet, there are still days where I stumble. There are moments when I don’t act or speak the way I would like. There are moments, days, maybe weeks where I fail to prioritize time with Him like I should. And can I be honest? When I find myself in those places, I don’t feel like I deserve to be in His presence. Maybe you relate to some of those feelings. If so, welcome, friend, this space is for you.

I’ve created the As You Are Blog to be a place where I explore the ebbs and flows of my faith and life with you all. To truly figure out what it looks like to live from this truth: I’m always welcome at His table, as I am.

Will you join me?
